Inauguration of Tirupattur District Chess Association

Association is registered under Societies Act and affiliated to Tamilnadu State Chess Association.

District Level Tournament on 14.11.2021.

Conducted first District Level Tournament on 14.11.2021. Honourable District Collector felicitated the Tournament. Very few District Bodies have done this.

District level chess tournament on the occasion of Children's Day

Till Now

As of now conducted NINE Tournaments, including SEVEN Selection Tournaments (for Under 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 17, and 19 Categories).

Two Senior National Arbiters, Two Official Coaches are also created.

Till Now

One player from Under 8 category secured Ninth Place in State Championship.

Till Now

Three players have participated in various National Championships.

Planning to provide Professional Coaching to Government school students.

In order to provide world class experience to players, 20 Chess Clocks (worth Rs. 50,000/-), 120 International Chess Sets (worth Rs. 35,000) has been purchased by the Association.
